17 and the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and spatter it seven times◦ before Jehovah, before the veil.

Verse 17. And also from celestial good operating in the Truths of faith with some power, shall the conjunction of truth with good, or of faith with charity, be acknowledged as from the Lord through the celestial heavens, in a holy state, although the inmost celestial life of the spiritual man is, as yet, obscure.
