6721. 'And hid him three months' means a complete period of time in which it was not seen. This is clear from the meaning of 'being hidden' as not being seen; and from the meaning of 'three months' as a complete period of time and a complete state. 'A month', like 'a day' or 'a year', means a period of time and a state, 2788; consequently a new state is meant by 'three months', 4901.
