⁸ He who makes the Pleiades and Orion, and turns the shadow·​·of·​·death into^◦ the morning, and darkens the day into night; who calls to the waters of the sea, and spills them on the faces of the earth: Jehovah is His name,

² to distort^◦ the cause of the poor, and to snatch·​·away the judgment of the afflicted of My people, that widows may be their spoil, and that they may plunder the orphans!
