⁴³ The sojourner that is in thy midst shall rise above thee higher and higher, and thou shalt sink down lower and lower.

²⁴ And if thy people Israel be put to the worse before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication before thee in this house;
