അതിന്നു യഹോവഞാന് സൊദോമില്, പട്ടണത്തിന്നകത്തു, അമ്പതു നീതിമാന്മാരെ കാണുന്നു എങ്കില് അവരുടെ നിമിത്തം ആ സ്ഥലത്തോടൊക്കെയും ക്ഷമിക്കും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

I will go down, I pray, and I will see whether they have made a consummation according to the cry thereof which is come unto Me, and if not I will know. “I will go down, I pray, and I will see,” signifies visitation; “whether they have made a consummation according to the cry thereof which is come unto Me, and if not I will know,” signifies whether the evil has arrived at its height.
