614. 'Walking with God' means the doctrine of faith. This may be seen in what has been stated already about Enoch at Chapter 5:22, 24, who also is said to have 'walked with God'. In that context it meant the doctrine of faith that was preserved for the use of descendants; and as these are the descendants for whose use it was preserved the subject is now taken up once again.
