⁶ E Seth visse centocinque anni, e generò Enosh.

⁸ e tutto il tempo che Seth visse fu novecentododici anni; poi morì.

⁹ Ed Enosh visse novant’anni, e generò Kenan.

¹⁰ Ed Enosh, dopo ch’ebbe generato Kenan, visse ottocentoquindici anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole;

¹¹ e tutto il tempo che Enosh visse fu novecentocinque anni; poi morì.

¹² E Kenan visse settant’anni, e generò Mahalaleel.

¹³ E Kenan, dopo ch’ebbe generato Mahalaleel, visse ottocentoquaranta anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole;

¹⁴ e tutto il tempo che Kenan visse fu novecentodieci anni; poi morì.

¹⁵ E Mahalaleel visse sessantacinque anni, e generò Jared.

¹⁶ E Mahalaleel, dopo ch’ebbe generato Jared, visse ottocentotrenta anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole;

¹⁷ e tutto il tempo che Mahalaleel visse fu ottocento novantacinque anni; poi morì.

¹⁸ E Jared visse cento sessantadue anni, e generò Enoc.

¹⁹ E Jared, dopo ch’ebbe generato Enoc, visse ottocento anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole;

²⁰ e tutto il tempo che Jared visse fu novecento sessantadue anni; poi morì.

²¹ Ed Enoc visse sessantacinque anni, e generò Methushelah.

²² Ed Enoc, dopo ch’ebbe generato Methushelah, camminò con Dio trecento anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole;

²³ e tutto il tempo che Enoc visse fu trecento sessantacinque anni.

²⁴ Ed Enoc camminò con Dio; poi disparve, perché Iddio lo prese.

²⁵ E Methushelah visse cento ottantasette anni e generò Lamec.

²⁶ E Methushelah, dopo ch’ebbe generato Lamec, visse settecento ottantadue anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole;

²⁷ e tutto il tempo che Methushelah visse fu novecento sessantanove anni; poi morì.

²⁸ E Lamec visse cento ottantadue anni, e generò un figliuolo;

²⁹ e gli pose nome Noè, dicendo: "Questo ci consolerà della nostra opera e della fatica delle nostre mani cagionata dal suolo che l’Eterno ha maledetto".

³⁰ E Lamec, dopo ch’ebbe generato Noè, visse cinquecento novantacinque anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole;

³¹ e tutto il tempo che Lamec visse fu settecento settantasette anni; poi morì.

³² E Noè, all’età di cinquecento anni, generò Sem, Cam e Jafet.

¹⁵ Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and became the father of Jared.

¹⁸ Jared lived one hundred sixty-two years, and became the father of Enoch.

²⁰ All the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty-two years, then he died.

²¹ Enoch lived sixty-five years, and became the father of Methuselah.

²² Enoch walked with God after he became the father of Methuselah three hundred years, and became the father of sons and daughters.

²³ All the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty-five years.

²⁴ Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.

²⁵ Methuselah lived one hundred eighty-seven years, and became the father of Lamech.

²⁶ Methuselah lived after he became the father of Lamech seven hundred eighty-two years, and became the father of sons and daughters.

²⁷ All the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty-nine years, then he died.

²⁸ Lamech lived one hundred eighty-two years, and became the father of a son,

²⁹ and he named him Noah, saying, "This same will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, because of the ground which Yahweh has cursed."

³⁰ Lamech lived after he became the father of Noah five hundred ninety-five years, and became the father of sons and daughters.

³¹ All the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy-seven years, then he died.

³² Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
