Unto the place of the altar which he had made there in the beginning; and there Abram called on the name of Jehovah. “Unto the place of the altar,” signifies the holy things of worship; “which he had made in the beginning,” signifies which He had when a child; “and there Abram called on the name of Jehovah,” signifies the internal worship in that state.
