That this signifies a state of enlightenment, is evident from the signification of “rising in the morning early,” as being a state of enlightenment (see n. 3458); for when mention is made in the Word of “arising,” it implies somewhat of elevation (n. 2401, 2785, 2912, 2927, 3171); and “morning” signifies the coming of heavenly light. Thus in the present case the signification is elevation from obscurity into light, consequently a state of enlightenment.
