1329. Verse 10 These are the generations of Shem: Shem was a son of a hundred years, and he begot Arpachshad two years after the Flood. 'These are the generations of Shem' means the derivatives of the second Ancient Church, 'Shem' being internal worship in general. 'A hundred years' means the state of that Church at the beginning. 'Arpachshad' was a nation so named which means knowledge. 'Two years after the Flood' means the second Church after the Flood.
