That this signifies the quality of this state, is evident from the signification of “calling a name,” as being the quality (n. 144, 145, 1754, 1896, 2009, 2724, 3006, 3421); and from the signification of “place,” as being state (n. 2625, 2837, 3356, 3387, 4321). The quality of this state is what “Succoth” involves, namely, the quality of the state of the holy in truth from good at that time. For “Succoth” means “tents,” and “tents” signify the holy of truth (as shown just above, n. 4391). “Succoth” signifies the like also in David:
