31 A sluge mu rekoše: Evo čuli smo da su carevi doma Izrailjevog milostivi carevi; da vežemo kostret oko sebe i da metnemo uzice sebi oko vratova, pa da iziđemo pred cara Izrailjevog, da ako ostavi u životu dušu tvoju.

Verse 31. Also it is the suggestion of the sensual life of the natural man, that spiritual truth from good, in the corrupted church, is compliant and yielding from merely natural kindness; and hence that an appearance of the submission of the will and the understanding of the natural man to the spiritual, would he the cause of a mutual agreement of the latter with the former.
