9 Only▵ revolt not against◦ Jehovah, and fear you◦ not the people of the land; for they◦ are bread for us; their shadow is removed from upon them, and Jehovah is with◦ us: fear them not.

Verse 9. Provided only that the natural man is willing to submit himself, and no longer to fear that evil will prevail with him, because by temptations man becomes receptive of good, and because in evil there is no power when resisted from a principle of good; for a state of good destroys fear.
