³ nhưng ấy là Ba-rúc, con trai Nê-ri-gia, xui ngươi nghịch cùng chúng ta, để nộp chúng ta trong tay người Canh-đê, đặng giết chúng ta hay là điệu về làm phu tù nước Ba-by-lôn.

¹ Có lời truyền cho Giê-rê-mi về hết thảy người Giu-đa ở trong đất Ê-díp-tô, tại Mít-đôn, Tác-pha-nết, Nốp, và trong xứ Pha-trốt, rằng:

¹⁶ That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
