⁴ Ấy vậy, Giô-ha-nan, con trai Ca-rê-át, các đầu đảng và mọi dân sự, chẳng vâng theo tiếng Ðức Giê-hô-va truyền cho mình lại trong đất Giu-đa.

¹ Có lời truyền cho Giê-rê-mi về hết thảy người Giu-đa ở trong đất Ê-díp-tô, tại Mít-đôn, Tác-pha-nết, Nốp, và trong xứ Pha-trốt, rằng:

¹⁶ That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
