8127. 'And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying' means instruction received from the Divine through Divine Truth. This is clear from the meaning of 'Jehovah spoke and said', in reference to things which are going to be done or take place, as instruction received from the Divine, as in 7186, 7241, 7267, 7304, 7380, 7517; and from the representation of 'Moses' as the Lord in respect of Divine Truth, dealt with in 6723, 6752, 6771, 6827, 7010, 7014, 7089, 7382. The reason why the instruction came through Divine Truth is that Moses, who represents Divine Truth, was to speak to the people. The Divine Himself does not instruct and speak to anyone directly, not even to an angel; He does so indirectly through Divine Truth, 7796. This is the meaning of the Lord's words in John,

Nobody has ever seen God; the only begotten Son who is in the bosom of the Father, He has made Him known. John 1:18; 5:37.

'The only begotten Son' is used to mean the Lord in respect of Divine Truth. This also is why the Lord calls Himself the Son of Man, 2628, 2803, 2813, 3704. In addition, when He was in the world the Lord was Divine Truth, but after that, when He had been glorified, He also became - in respect of His Human - Divine Good. And from this Good Divine Truth now proceeded, that is, the Spirit of Truth or Holy Spirit.
