24 ฝ่ายกิเดโอนก็สร้างแท่นบูชาแท่นหนึ่งถวายพระเยโฮวาห์ที่นั่น และเรียกตำบลนั้นว่า พระเยโฮวาห์ชาโลม ทุกวันนี้แท่นนั้นก็ยังอยู่ที่โอฟราห์ ซึ่งเป็นของคนอาบีเยเซอร์

1 ฝ่ายทูตสวรรค์องค์หนึ่งของพระเยโฮวาห์ได้ขึ้นไปจากกิลกาลถึงโบคิม และกล่าวว่า "เราได้ให้เจ้าทั้งหลายขึ้นไปจากอียิปต์ และได้นำเจ้าเข้ามาในแผ่นดินซึ่งเราปฏิญาณไว้แก่บรรพบุรุษของเจ้า และเรากล่าวว่า `เราจะไม่หักพันธสัญญาที่เราได้มีไว้กับเจ้าเลย
