5935. 'And it was good in Pharaoh's eyes means joy everywhere there - in the natural. This is clear from the meaning of 'being good in someone's eyes' as being a thing of joy to him; and from the representation of' Pharaoh' as the natural in general, dealt with just above in 5933.
