അങ്ങനെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നു യഹോവ തങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു. അഹരോന് തന്റെ വടി ഫറവോന്റെയും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ നിലത്തിട്ടു; അതു സര്പ്പമായ്തീര്ന്നു.
