'The first resurrection,' mentioned in Revelation 20:5, 6, does not mean a first resurrection, but the essence and primary part of resurrection, which is salvation and eternal life. There is only one resurrection to life. A second does not happen, and is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible.

"Of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand sealed," signifies the conjunction with the Lord of those who are in the third heaven (n. 447); "of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand sealed," signifies the conjunction with the Lord of those who are in the second heaven (n. 448); "of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand sealed," signifies the conjunction with the Lord of those who are in the lowest heaven (n. 449).
