8826. 'And Jehovah came down onto Mount Sinai' means the Lord's presence in heaven. This is clear from the meaning of 'Mount Sinai' as heaven, dealt with in 8805, so that 'coming down onto that mountain' is presence there. The reason why the Lord's presence is meant is that in the Word 'Jehovah' is the Lord.
