9467. “紫色” 表对良善的属天之爱. 这从 “紫色” 的含义清楚可知,

“紫色” 是指对良善的属天之爱. 这爱之所以由 “紫色” 来表示, 是因为红色表示属天之爱. 事实上, 基本的颜色有两种, 其余的颜色都来自这两种颜色, 即: 红色和白色. 红色表示属于爱的良善, 而白色表示属于信的真理. 红色之所以表示属于爱的良善, 是因为它来自火, 而火表示爱之良善; 白色之所以表示属于信的真理, 是因为它来自光, 而光表示信之真理.

“火” 表示爱之良善 (参看5215, 6314, 6832, 6834, 6849, 7324, 9434节);

“光” 表示信之真理 (2776, 3195, 3636, 3643, 3993, 4302, 4413, 4415, 5400, 8644, 8707, 8861, 9399, 9407节);

“红” 表示爱之良善 (3300节);

“白” 表示信之真理 (3993, 4007, 5319节).

由此明显可知其余的颜色表示什么; 因为它们照着带有红色的程度而表示爱之良善; 照着带有白色的程度而表示信之真理. 出现在天堂的一切颜色都是在这两个层面上的天堂之光和火焰的修改. 因为天堂之光是真光, 本身是从主的神性良善发出的神性真理. 因此, 这光和火焰的修改就是真理和良善, 因而聪明和智慧的不同变化.

这一切表明为何帐幕的幔子和帘子, 以及亚伦的衣服都要用蓝色, 紫色, 染过两次的朱红色线, 并细麻织成 (出埃及记 26:1, 31, 36; 27:16; 28:6, 15); 也就是说, 是为了它们可以代表属于良善的属天事物和属于真理的属灵事物, 这些事物是下文的主题.

在以西结书,

“紫色” 也表示来自一个属天源头的良善:

你的篷帆是用埃及刺绣的细麻布做的; 你的篷是用以利沙岛的蓝色, 紫色布做的.(以西结书 27:7)

在路加福音,

“紫色和细麻布” 表示类似事物:

“财主” 在内义表示犹太民族和他们当中的教会, 它因取自存在于那里的圣言的关于良善和真理的认知或知识而被称为 “财主”;

“紫色和细麻布衣服” 是指这些认知或知识;

“紫衣” 表示关良善的认知或知识;

18. Verses4-6. John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you, and peace, from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven spirits which are in sight of His throne; and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the Firstborn of the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loveth us, and washeth us from our sins in His blood; and hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be the glory and the might unto the ages of the ages. Amen.

4. "John," signifies the Lord in respect to doctrine (n. 19); "to the seven churches," signifies to all who are in truths from good, or in faith from charity (n. 20); "in Asia," signifies those who are in the light of intelligence (n. 21); "Grace to you, and peace," signifies the delight of truth and good (n. 22); "from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come," signifies from Him who is the All in all things of heaven and of the church from eternity to eternity (n. 23); "and from the seven spirits," signifies the Divine in heaven (n. 24); "which are in sight of His throne," signifies presence and providence (n. 25).

5. "And from Jesus Christ," signifies from the Lord in respect to the Divine Human (n. 26); "the faithful witness," signifies from whom is all truth in heaven (n. 27[1-4]); "the Firstborn from the dead," signifies from whom is all good in heaven n. 28; "and the Prince of the kings of the earth," signifies from whom is all truth from good in the church n. 29; "Unto Him that loveth us, and washeth us from our sins in His blood," signifies His love, and regeneration from Him through truths that are from Him n. 30.

6. "And hath made us kings and priests," signifies that from Him we are in His spiritual and celestial kingdom n. 31; "unto God and His Father," signifies by Divine truth and Divine good (n. 32); "to Him be the glory and the might unto the ages of the ages," signifies that these things are from Him alone to eternity (n. 33); "Amen," signifies Divine confirmation (n. 34).
