3 และเหล่าศิษย์แห่งผู้พยากรณ์ผู้อยู่ในเบธเอลได้ออกมาหาเอลีชาและบอกท่านว่า "ท่านทราบไหมว่า วันนี้พระเยโฮวาห์จะทรงรับอาจารย์ของท่านไปจากเป็นหัวหน้าท่าน" ท่านตอบว่า "ครับ ข้าพเจ้าทราบแล้ว เงียบๆไว้"

Verse 3. And when this descent has taken place, there is perception from the state of man as to truths, that the Word will cease to be understood in its genuine meaning; but those who are in the love of truth, knowing this, are astonished and grieved.
