9 But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.

Verse 9. Rut the corrupted celestial church, generally or individually, is not willing to serve the Lord; and indeed produces greater evils among men than are produced by the evils of the merely natural man, from which the Lord by redemption and regeneration delivers them.
