Psalms 66

pag-aaral

1 To the victor; a song, a psalm.
Shout to God, all the earth!

2 Sing··psalms··to the glory of His name;
make His praise to be glory.

3 Say to God, How fearsome are Thy deeds!
In the multitude of Thy strength shall Thine enemies denounce themselves to Thee.

4 All the earth shall bow··down to Thee; and shall sing··psalms to Thee,
they shall sing··psalms··to Thy name. Selah.

5 Go and see the works of God;
Fearsome are His actions for the sons of man.

6 He turned the sea to dry land; they passed through the river on foot:
there we were··glad in Him.

7 He rules in His eternal might; His eyes watch over the nations;
let not the defiant exalt themselves. Selah.

8 Bless our God, ye peoples,
and make the voice of His praise to be heard:

9 who sets our soul among the living,
and suffers not our foot to be moved.

10 For Thou, O God, hast tested us;
Thou hast refined us as silver is refined.

11 Thou broughtest us into the hunting net*;
Thou didst set oppression upon our loins.

12 Thou didst cause man to ride over our head; we came into fire and into water;
but Thou didst bring· us ·out to abundance.

13 I will come··into Thy house with burnt··offerings,
I will pay to Thee my vows,

14 with which my lips have opened··wide,
and which my mouth has spoken, in my adversity.

15 I will offer··up to Thee burnt··offerings of marrows, with incense of rams;
I will make an offering of cattle with he-goats. Selah.

16 Go, hear! All ye who fear God,
and I will recount what He has done for my soul.

17 I called to Him with my mouth,
and He was exalted with my tongue.

18 If I see iniquity in my heart,
the Lord will not hear;

19 But surely God has heard;
He has attended to the voice of my prayer.

20 Blessed be God, Who has not turned··aside my prayer,
nor His mercy from me.
