Psalms 36

pag-aaral

1 To the victor; of the servant of Jehovah, of David.
2 A statement of transgression to the wicked: in the midst of my heart
there is no dread of God in··front··of his eyes.

2 3 For he flatters himself in his own eyes,
hating to find··out his iniquity.

3 4 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit;
he has stopped having··intelligence and doing··good.

4 5 He thinks iniquity on his bed; he stands··forth on a way that is not good;
he rejects not evil.

5 6 O Jehovah, in the heavens is Thy mercy;
Thy faithfulness is even··to the ethers.

6 7 Thy justice is as the mountains of God;
Thy judgments are a great abyss;
man and beast Thou savest, O Jehovah.

7 8 How precious is Thy mercy, O God!
And the sons of man confide in the shadow of Thy wings.

8 9 They shall be soaked from the fatness of Thy house;
and of the brook of Thy pleasures, Thou wilt give· them ·to··drink.

9 10 For with Thee is the spring of lives*;
in Thy light shall we see light.

10 11 O draw··out Thy mercy to those who know Thee,
and Thy justice to the upright of heart.

11 12 Let not the foot of pride come upon me.
And let not the hand of the wicked make me flee··away.

12 13 There have the workers of iniquity fallen;
they are thrust··aside and shall not be··able to rise.
