15 וַתִּסָּגֵר מִרְיָם מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים וְהָעָם לֹא נָסַע עַד־הֵאָסֵף מִרְיָם׃

Verse 15. Hence, then, the state of profanation is only removed by regeneration successively, and every such state, so long as it lasts, retards spiritual progress.
