10616. 'And Jehovah passed through above his face' means the internal and Divine realities above the external things. This is clear from the representation of Moses as the outward form receptive of that which is inward, dealt with above in 10607, 10614, so that 'Jehovah passed through above his face' means that which is Divine and Internal above what is external.
