¹⁴ Hoort dan niet naar de woorden der profeten, die tot u spreken, zeggende: Gij zult den koning van Babel niet dienen; want zij profeteren u valsheid.

Judah

The 'city of Judah,' as in Isaiah 40:9, signifies the doctrine of love towards the Lord and love towards our neighbor.

⁹ You who tell good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who tell good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with strength. Lift it up. Don't be afraid. Say to the cities of Judah, "Behold, your God!"
