That this signifies the possession of memory-knowledges, is evident from the signification of the “land of Egypt,” as being memory-knowledges (see n. 1164, 1165, 1186, 1462, 4749, 4964, 4966, 5700); and from the signification of his “giving the good of the land,” as being possession, for he who gives possession gives the good thereof; and the converse.
