3 και ηλθον οι υιοι των προφητων οι εν βαιθηλ προς ελισαιε και ειπον προς αυτον ει εγνως οτι κυριος σημερον λαμβανει τον κυριον σου επανωθεν της κεφαλης σου και ειπεν καγω εγνωκα σιωπατε

Verse 3. And when this descent has taken place, there is perception from the state of man as to truths, that the Word will cease to be understood in its genuine meaning; but those who are in the love of truth, knowing this, are astonished and grieved.
