Verse 14. Wherefore in the Ancient Word, which describes the combats of the Lord with the hells, and also the temptations of the man of the church, it is written : ""He endured the extreme temptation by receiving influx from the hells, and from natural delights thence by the assumption of the Human in ultimates;
