Kui Jehu läks sealt ära, siis kohtas ta Joonadabi, Reekabi poega, kes tuli temale vastu. Jehu teretas teda ja küsis temalt: 'Kas sinu süda on niisama otsekohene, nagu minu süda on sinu südame vastu?' Ja Joonadab vastas: 'On küll!' - 'Kui nõnda, siis anna oma käsi!' Ja Joonadab andis oma käe ning Jehu laskis teda astuda enese juurde vankrisse.
