Before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. In the midst of the throne, and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.

221. "'I will grant to sit with Me on My throne.'" This symbolically means that their conjunction with the Lord will be in heaven.
To be shown that the Lord's throne is heaven, see no. 14 above. Consequently to sit with the Lord on His throne symbolizes a conjunction with Him in heaven.
