2 Samuel 19:37

Funda

37 Please let your servant turn back again, that I may die in my own city, by the grave of my father and my mother. But behold, your servant Chimham; let him go over with my lord the king; and do to him what shall seem good to you."

Hairs of the head, the beard, and the feet

'Hairs of the head, the beard, and the feet,' as mentioned in Isaiah 7:20, signify the following things: 'Hairs of the head' signify the outermost parts of wisdom, 'hairs of the beard' signify the outermost parts of intelligence, and 'hairs of the feet' signify the outermost parts of science. 'Hairs of the head' signify the outermost parts of love and wisdom. Samson's strength lay in his hair because of this. 'Hair,' in reference to the Lord, as mentioned in Revelation 1:14, signifies the divine good which is of love and the divine truth which is of wisdom, in the outermost parts of the Word.
