και ειπεν κυριε ει αρα ευρον χαριν εναντιον σου μη παρελθης τον παιδα σου
2160. Verse 4. Let I pray a little water be taken, and wash ye your feet, and lie down under the tree. “Let I pray a little water be taken,” signifies that they should draw near, and let themselves down from things Divine nearer to His intellectual things; “and wash ye your feet,” signifies that they should put on something natural, in order that in the state in which He then was, He might the better perceive; “and lie down under the tree,” signifies near to the perception of His state in which He was; “tree” is perception.

Now says Yahweh who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, and that Israel be gathered to him (for I am honorable in the eyes of Yahweh, and my God is become my strength);

yes, he says, "It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give you for a light to the nations, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth."
