¹³ And Jehovah shall put^◦ thee for the head, and not for the tail; and thou shalt be only above, and thou shalt not be beneath; if thou hearken to^▵ the commandments of Jehovah thy God, which I^▵ command thee today, to keep and to do;

^{9 10} but killing thou shalt kill him; thy hand shall be first upon him to·​·put· him ·to·​·death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
