¹² And Ebedmelech the Ethiopian said unto^▵ Jeremiah^◦, Set now^◦ these worn·​·out clothes and rags under the joints of thy hands beneath the cords. And Jeremiah^◦ did so.

⁹ And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and a man^◦ shall eat the flesh of his companion, in the siege, and in the anguish, with which their enemies, and they who seek their souls, shall cause·​·anguish for them.
