Studie

23 And thou shalt eat before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose, that his name may be called upon therein, the tithe of thy corn, and thy wine, and thy oil, and the firstborn of thy herds and thy sheep: that thou mayst learn to fear the Lord thy God at all times.

Explanation of Deuteronomy 14:23

Av Alexander Payne

Verse 23. You shall conjoin to your soul the good things that are received into the soul from the Divine Love and Wisdom in those states to which He shall lead you, in which He shall impress upon you the qualities derived from His Divine Humanity, from which you shall receive all that is good within you, all the genuine truth which you have, and all the sincere love to the Lord, and all that is good in your spiritual and natural affections; that you may learn at all times to shun evil, and to conform your life to the Divine Goodness and Wisdom.
