³⁶ Och HERREN hade låtit folket finna nåd för egyptiernas ögon, så att de gåvo dem vad de begärde. Så togo de byte från egyptierna.

³¹ Då trodde folket; och när de hörde att HERREN hade sett till Israels barn, och att han hade sett deras betryck, böjde de sig ned och tillbådo.
