2 Kings 25:25

Verse 25. But it happens, when the church is in a state of full vastation even as to faith, that the natural reason of man, which is the gift of the Lord, and through which the Lord enjoins obedience to truth which is the Word and should govern the mind, rejects the truths of the Word which have been falsified, or rejects truths combined with falsities in its state of watchfulness.
