31 It happened, as he made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground split apart that was under them;

Verse 31. And so it really happens according to Divine Truth, to the corrupted spiritual man. For in the Judgement, all the outward professions of righteousness upon which he had mainly relied are taken away from him.
