Ezekiel 39:7

⁷ And My holy name I make known in the midst of My people Israel, And I pollute not My holy name any more, And known have the nations that I, Jehovah, the holy One, [am] in Israel.

'To rend the garments' signifies mourning for truth lost or destroyed, or the loss of faith.

'Rending the garments' can also signify zeal for doctrine and truth, and humility.
