2804 .'He said, Behold, the fire and the pieces of wood' means that love and righteousness are present. This is clear from the meaning of 'fire' as love, dealt with in 934, and from the meaning of 'the pieces of wood for a burnt offering' as the merit of righteousness, dealt with in 2784.
