⁵¹ We are confounded, because we have heard reproach; confusion has covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of Yahweh's house.

Fierce anger

In Jeremiah 30:24, fierce anger signifies the dispersion of evils and falsities. (Apocalypse Explained 419[22]) 'Fierce anger,' as in Genesis 49:7, signifies a strong aversion to good.
