'Hittites, Perizzites, and Rephaim,' as mentioned in Genesis 15:20, signify persuasions of false ideas.

'A Hittite' in a good sense, signifies the spiritual church, or the truth of the church. The Hittites were among the upright Gentiles in the land of Canaan.
