3 And they assembled themselves against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: why then do ye raise yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

Verse 3. And this combination of the wicked is not only against Divine Truth, but also against Divine Good, insinuating the falsities with the man of the church in temptation, that what is affirmed to be from good and truth is from pride and the love of ruling; that, in reality, every man is led by selfish love; and that by this the Lord governs him.
