Leviticus 4:33

³³ And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin-offering, and slay it for a sin-offering in the place where they kill the burnt-offering.

In Genesis 8:21; 27:4; and Exodus 29:18, this signifies that worship rising out of those things was pleasing to the Lord. (Arcana Coelestia 924, 925)
