Steward of the house
In Genesis 15:2, an external church is called 'the steward of the house' when the internal church itself is the house, and the Lord is the father or master of the family. Stewardship pertains to the external of the church, as the administration of ceremonies and many aspects of the temple and of the church itself, that is, of the house of Jehovah, or of the Lord.
