In Deuteronomy 32:33, this signifies reasonings from the senses. (Arcana Coelestia 195)

In Isaiah 13:22, this signifies the inmost of their worship, which was the love of self. It also signifies adulterated and profaned goods. (Apocalypse Explained 714, Arcana Coelestia 1326[3])

In Isaiah 27:1, this signifies people who reject as realities all that they do not see with the eyes of the body; in other words, people who are thoroughly worldly who are without faith because they do not understand. 'Leviathan that crooked serpent' signifies people who, for the same reason, do not believe although they say that they do. (Apocalypse Explained 275[3])

In Revelation 12:4, this signifies people who will attempt to extinguish the teachings of the New Church at its inception. (Apocalypse Revealed 542)

In Psalm 74:14, this signifies worldly ideas in general.
